Who Is I?
Sorabh Dhir is an emerging talent, as a comedian, writer and actor that was nominated for his Work in Progress show “GOOD BOY” in 2026 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Born in Manchester, raised in Essex and living in South London (shoutout to Morleys), with his dog, Rocket - the best boy in the world - Sorabh is quickly making a name for himself on the comedy circuit, regularly performing at top clubs such as Big Belly Comedy Club, both as performer and a MC.
Sorabh trained in law like a good Indian boy, before leaving that to be a tech bro (which he continues to apologise for). But he uses all of that experience, his love for pets and more to share his artistry.
He has already had several successful runs at Edinburgh Fringe. He sold out his first comedy split bill, “#IsThisEssex?” in 2025 with rave audience reviews, which he followed up with his first solo show “GOOD BOY”, a work in progress show, in 2026 to rave reviews and a best newcomer nomination. He also successfully produced and hosted Fringe’s first South Asian Showcase, “150% Masala Comedy”, with some of the biggest acts of south asian heritage performing.
Sorabh has more exciting plans coming, especially as a writer, having being shortlisted for his ever screenplay, with more written that he is developing.
