GOOD BOY
FRINGE 2026
A 45 min Work in Progress (WIP) show that led to a Best Newcomer nomination by the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ISH).
Sorabh Dhir grew up in a typical Indian household, where education was paramount and dogs were to be feared. Growing up in Essex, Sorabh always felt everyone around him decided who he was before he did. Wondering whether he is British or Indian enough? Should he be a lawyer or a tech bro? Who should he marry? What if he abandons all of that for comedy and gets a dog called Rocket? Good Boy is a show about finding success through mistakes. With special guest appearances from Rocket!
The show was performed for the full run with HOOTS in a 60 person room with sold out shows and rave audience reviews.

"So I’m too much of an Asian mum to say summing’s good when it’s not so know that I’m sincere when I say that Good Boy was bloody brilliant! The jokes, the observations, the relatability, the crowd work, the beautiful giant poodle, all bloody brilliant! So go to pet the dog but stay for the laughs from the more than worthy long-listed Best Newcomer nominee of the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Award"

“IsThisEssex?”
FRINGE 2025
A Split bill with Wes Defoe that received rave audience reviews and sell out shows. Performed at The Mash House with Just The Tonic.
The pair met as rivals in the semi finals for So You Think You’re Funny and instantly bonded over the fact that they both grew up in Essex - Never quite fitting the mold of a “Lad” and a fun subversion to play with.
With that, Sorabh and Wes partnered with Little Ricks, to offer all attendees a free CBD drink, and word quickly spread of our show being nothing but fun and good energy, with hard hitting truths from two brown boys with distant styles but amazing on stage chemistry.
Sorabh and Wes appeared on BBC Essex to promote their show.
